WorkKeys Assessments Value to Businesses

To ensure our labor force has the basic skills needed for your company’s workforce, the Workforce Connection is providing an opportunity for job seekers to test in the areas of Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information and Locating Information Problem Solving).  There are other available assessments besides the three currently being administered by the NMWC, but these three are currently available at no cost. 

The tests used by the NMWC are the national ACT WorkKeys Assessments that are based on employer workplace needs for all types of jobs and are being used across the country.    These skill level results can be used along with a resume, interview, company test and other company hiring criteria to help an employer make the best applicant choice.
