The Rio Rancho Economic Development Corporation (RREDC) is a private not-for-profit economic development corporation. The corporation was established to help strengthen and diversify the economic base of Rio Rancho and Sandoval County, New Mexico.
The RREDC was formed in 1992 and is directed by a 30-member volunteer Board of Directors. The members of the Board come from a wide variety of professions and organizations. The RREDC is funded by the City of Rio Rancho, Sandoval County, and the private sector business community.

The RREDC also has specific contracts for services with the Workforce Development Board and receives funding through the State of New Mexico Economic Development Department under the Certified Cities and Cooperative Advertising Programs. A staff of certified economic developers provides a comprehensive array of services to business and industry considering locations for expansion, relocation and/or consolidation. Noreen Scott serves as the RREDC’s president. The RREDC’s board has several committees that assist staff to pursue the organization’s goals and objectives. The committees are as follows:

The RREDC maintains professional memberships in a number of corporate real state, site selection and economic development industry associations. Among the organizations that the RREDC maintains active participation are CoreNet Global, Industrial Asset Management Council, International Council of Shopping Centers, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, New Mexico Industrial Development Executives Association, and the International Economic Development Council.
