The RREDC is a private not-for-profit economic development corporation that serves the City of Rio Rancho and Sandoval County, New Mexico. The RREDC was formed in 1992 and is directed by a 30-member board of directors. The corporation’s president serves as the chief administrative officer and services are performed by the president and a team of professional economic developers. The RREDC is funded by the City of Rio Rancho, Sandoval County and contributions from the regional business community. The RREDC works closely with the Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce, Rio Rancho Convention and Visitors Bureau, and City of Rio Rancho.

The RREDC maintains professional memberships in numerous corporate real estate, site selection, and industry trade associations. Among the organizations are CoreNet Global, International Asset Management Council, and International Council of Shopping Centers.
